![]() It was an exciting evening tonight when we received another "wedding gift" - a story from Jeremy's father, Dale Mohr, about his thoughtful gift for homeless men. We were very touched by Dale's story and inspired by the fact that he still thinks of helping others, even though he doesn't get out and about as much as he used to. I love visiting with Dale and Marlene as they share their many stories of how their family has helped others over the years. It is never to boast of all the good that they have done, rather just a sharing of memories accumulated over the years. Hearing about how others have been able to overcome life's many challenges makes me thankful for the many blessings I have in my own life. When something doesn't go as planned or I have a new challenge to overcome, I always try to remain positive and work my way through it. Thank you for your generosity and for sharing your story with us. Act of Kindness story submitted by Dale Mohr: Homeless men usually wear their socks till they literally fall off. Because of my feet issues, I have decided to share socks with Siloam Mission to help keep feet dry and warm. Sixty pairs of brand new socks and 15 pairs of gently used ones should help keep some men to have comfortable feet.
